Thomas Paul Deutscher

Thomas P. Deutscher, 63, passed away at home unexpectedly on January 7, 2015. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed reading as many books as he could get his hands on. Thomas retired as a civil engineer at an early age, which allowed him to enjoy his hobbies.

He is survived by his father, Richard Deutscher, daughter, Melanie Deutscher, sister, Terry Bailey, brother, David Deutscher,granddaughter, Amber Ridenhour, and constant feline companion, Flamer. One of the most important titles he carried was, "G-Pa", his only grandchild, Amber gave him this proud title. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Wells Deutscher.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 2:30 p.m., Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum, 7501 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh.
