Taylor is survived by his parents: Thomas Shelden Griggs, of Asheville, NC and Elizabeth Greene, of Raleigh, NC; and by his sister, Kat Morris (Sean), of Seattle, WA. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and by his cousin Andy Greene, of Kinston, NC.
Taylor found great joy in helping others, and he was especially kind to young children and animals. His favorite places to be were in the northwoods of Wisconsin or the mountains of North Carolina, skiing, canoeing, camping, exploring, and enjoying nature. His was self-sufficient in the wild, the kind of guy who could make fire by rubbing two sticks together, literally. He was also a wonderful artist and found happiness connecting with people through drawing, painting and tattooing. He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
