Sue Doria

Sue E. Doria, 56, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord, on November 4, 2011, in Raleigh NC, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on August 2, 1955, in Bayonne, NJ.

Sue was a graduate of Bayonne High School and former employee of Best Foods, NJ and most recently at Crabtree Valley Mall, Raleigh, NC. She was caring and compassionate and was truly a selfless person. Above all her greatest joy and love in life was being a devoted mother to her children and a loving wife to her husband. Her charismatic personality and sense of style made her a unique spirit.

Sue was the daughter of the late Edward “E.O.” Orlik, granddaughter of the late Catherine Orlik, and is lovingly remembered by Frank, her beloved husband of 38 years; her cherished children, Nicole, Lisa, Marissa and William. She will also be missed by her devoted in-laws William and Mary Doria; her dear sisters, Gayle (Robert) Tedino, Renee (Douglas) Smith, and her brother Kevin (Susan) Orlik; and her beloved nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 8, from 12:00 – 6:00 pm at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC 27612. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 9, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Road, Raleigh NC. Entombment will follow the funeral mass at Raleigh Memorial Park.
