Steven is survived by his wife of 50 years, Natalie Yancey Webster; daughter Crystal Peele, and her husband, Billy; granddaughter, Gloria Dixon; grandsons, Allen Layton, and his wife, Kristen, Christopher Layton, Gary Layton, and his wife, Lisa; great-grandchildren, Gary, Jr., Morgan, Sarah, Jacob, Madison, and Emmit; several nieces and nephews, including Tammy Decker, and her husband, Cole.
In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his daughters, Jennifer Leigh Dixon and Amanda Gail Webster; sister, Betty Jean Hodge; and his brother, H. B. Webster.
The family would like to thank Toni Wood for all of her dedication, love and support to Natalie and Buddy over the past couple of years.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, followed by burial in Raleigh Memorial Park.
