Stephen "Spaz" Miller Leach

Stephen was born May 20, 1969 in Raleigh, NC to Walter W. Leach and the late Elizabeth M. Leach.

Stephen attended Sanderson High School and earned his GED at Wake Technical Community College.

He had knowledge of many subjects, but was drawn to nature. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and bird watching. He particularly enjoyed working with native plants.

Stephen is survived by his father, Walter W. Leach of Raleigh; brother, Walter H. Leach and wife Dawn of Shermans Dale, PA; brother, David E. Leach and wife Darlene of Raleigh; a niece and several nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth M. Leach.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday February 26, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC. A graveside service will be held Monday February 27, 2012 at Raleigh Memorial Park.
