While in Sandwich, Illinois, she was active at the Fox Valley Community Center, making new friends, spending time with family and entertaining them all with her southern accent.
Her greatest joy in life was her family and being with her grandchildren. Christmas celebrations, old hymns, the beach, her church, and ACC basketball were all great loves. She was filled with joy, love for all she knew, and an unwavering faith.
