Rosemary D. Deaver Howard

Rosemary was born December 19, 1945 in Sampson County, NC to the late Johnny Ivey Deaver and Esther Jennette King. She was a graduate of Gardner Webb University, High Point University and UNC-Greensboro. Rosemary was a elementary education teacher with Oak Hill Elementary and Shady Brook Elementary in High Point from 1971-2007. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Howard II and brother, Henry Deaver.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Robert W. Howard; daughter, Roxanne H. Krotoszynski and her husband, David; brothers, Ivey Deaver and Charles Deaver; sisters, Ruth DeYoung, Jean Blackmon, Joyce Pierce and Alice Thompson; grandchildren, Dana and Arya.

A funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, April 20, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5510 Falls of Neuse Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. Entombment will follow the service at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612. The family will receive friends 12-1pm prior to the service at the church.
