Ronald Joseph Pearson Sr, formerly of Latrobe, PA, passed away at Duke Raleigh Hospital at the age of 83. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Korea. Ronald worked in the Chem Lab at Latrobe Steel Company, retiring in 1986 with 30 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church prior to moving to Raleigh.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Markle Pearson and Mary Hall Pearson, stepmother Katheryn Coleman Pearson, and two sisters, Lorraine and Mary Jo.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen E. Kurela Pearson and his son, Ronald Joseph Pearson Jr. and wife Lizabeth of Whittier, California.
