Dad I miss you so much I wish you were here I’m struggling and I just need my dad! Life hasn’t been the same without you! It’s so hard to not have you to call when I need you. I thought my life would be all together by now but I feel like it’s falling apart you were always there to help me and I love you and will never forget all the you have done for me. I never thought this would happen so soon. Elijah talks about you every day he says “ I just want to see my papa” we come visit you as much as we can and I will always make sure he knows who is papa! I I just wish you were here to take fishing and camping. Ughh this is so hard. Miss you  ❤️ Please help me in the right direction I know I messed up a lot but I’m just here to make sure Elijah is ok and gets the childhood he deserves I’m trying my very best! 

It's sad that this will be closed after today. This helps me through a lot and the only way I feel I can talk to you. Elijah and I miss you so much I hope u see that. Can't believe it's been almost a year. Camping starts soon, and you will be with little Brad and I. We have your picture in the camper along with your brother, Richard (pop pop).  We miss you two soooo very much, it hurts.  I know you two are doing what you like best, being by the river enjoying the water.  Hope to see you two soon.

Another month has gone by but the feeling of missing you hasn't eased its become stronger! I feel like I'm being selfish. I've never been good with my emotions I just wish I could have spent more time with you I'm just glad Elijah was able to meet such a great papa and I'm glad he could bring you happiness with all you have gone through. I finally got my dresser I love it thank you! I love and miss you so much dad always and forever

Richard and I miss you and so does little Brad.  We talk about you and all our great times, they won't be forgotten.  Every camping trip reminds us of you.  We all at the campsite remember the times we shared, it helps to talk about those times.  I'm happy I got to meet you and spend time with you.  Your brother, I know, misses you deeply. Thank you for all the fun times camping Ronnie.  You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered in the beautiful scenery and precious memories of our favorite spots.

I will always remember that smile that you kept on your face. I loved sitting and catching up with you when you came up to the house to visit. It was a joy to talk to you and I will miss you. I will think of our first memory often, when you danced with me at my parents wedding in 96.  You are a great man who will be missed by many. Catch alot fish Uncle Ronnie.

Ronnie was one of the nicest guys I ever met. I will sure miss camping and fishing the Shenandoah with you Ron. RIP my friend and fish on!

Ronnie was a warm and fun-loving man. We have many wonderful memories to share camping at the Shenandoah and watching the Redskins be defeated.  His enthusiasm for the outdoors and all things was infectious.  I (Kristine) remember my first camping trips in the Shenandoah, Harold had been camping with the crew for so long, I wondered how I would fit in? Ronnie was so welcoming and encouraging.  He made everyone feel better just being in his presence. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the Dougherty family. We will miss you very much, Ronnie. Your warmth and encouragement will never be forgotten. Have a drink and drop a line in the water.

Although it reminded me of my father when he was upset with me, the look above your glasses will be a cherished memory. I will miss your wise words and lessons. Each year I always took away something new that you either told me or showed me.  You were a great brother to my daddy and I thank you for that Uncle Ronnie. I can't imagine camping without Ronnie being there.  I will most miss him throwing the puck for Reese and getting tired of it, telling her no more and then giving into her sad face and continuing to toss the puck.  The laughing around the fire at night and watching him in the middle of the river casting his fly rod.  I tear up when I think of what it will be like without him there.  My thoughts go out to the Dougherty family during their time of sadness.  Ronnie was a very much loved man who will be very much missed.  I hope in some way that eases some of the sadness.
