Rob attended Jordan High School in Durham, NC. He enjoyed playing golf and was an avid UNC Tar Heels fan. He was employed for ten years with Harris Incorporated of Durham where he received Salesman of the Year five times. For the past 20 years, Rob has been living in Marietta, GA where he was an orthotic fitter for Range of Motion.
He is lovingly remembered by his Family; his sister Jill (Rick) Cone and their children, Blake, Sabrina, Garrett, and Andrew, and half-brother Phillip (Carol) Thomas of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Robert is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, Leslie Ross Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4th from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 5th, all at Mitchell’s Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC. Interment will follow at Brier Creek Memorial Park at 1:30 pm.
