An accomplished artist, avid lover of plants and all things outdoors, and giver to all who needed his help, Stan’s spirit will be sorely missed. He took great pleasure in drives through the countryside of local counties and, during the past few years, took two of his high school friends along on these adventures. A lover of food from the earth, Stan loved going to the Farmer’s Market for fresh produce, which he always was able to prepare in amazing ways. Stan was the best chef in the family. Stan was a tremendous partner to his sister in the years they took care of their mother so she could remain in the family home of 60 years.
Stan was pre-deceased by his father James Robert “Jim” Beaty and his mother Mabel Parker Beaty along with several cousins.
He leaves behind his sister, Rebecca “Becky” Beaty, numerous cousins, friends and classmates, to cherish their memories of their time with Stan.
A special thanks to Sandy Choate who was a lifelong friend, and more recently, a tremendous support to his sister Becky.
Stan has donated his body to Wake Forest school of Medicine to assist students in their learning. A celebration of Stan’s life will be held in the Spring 2025.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one’s choice.
