Rachel was born on February 25, 1932 in Alert, North Carolina to Howard and Minnie Pernell.
Rachel is survived by her children; Jack Debnam (Gail), Mike Debnam (April), Dean Debnam (Sesha), Vickie Debnam, Candy Debnam (Buddy), Kim Debnam (Tim Roche), John & Lisa Blalock, and Amy Fleming. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ritchie Jay Debnam.
A visitation for Rachel will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.
A reception will be held at 5021 Wynneford Way, Raleigh, NC 27614 at 1pm on Thursday, April 25.
