Paul Edward Pittman

Paul was born in Kings Mountain, NC on January 9, 1943. He graduated from Kings Mountain Elementary & High School and completed his education after receiving his MBA in Accounting from South New Hampshire University.

Paul has been married for 22 yrs. to Barbara Ufer Pittman since Oct, 4, 2001. Paul was preceded by his parents and his sisters and brothers.

Paul was a crewman assigned to Navy Search and Rescue Helicopters for 20 years and retired with full honors. As a retiree he worked for Lockheed-Martin in a similar position for another 18 years before going into full retirement.

As a civilian he enjoyed baking all kinds of cookies and cakes, planting gardens, trips in the fall to NC mountains to pick apples and rides through the Blue Ridge mountains during the changes of leaf color in the fall. He loved to take pictures of old abandoned wood farm buildings in the country.

Celebration of Life will take place at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 East Millbrook Rd., Raleigh, NC at 10:00 am on Friday August 18, 2023 and will be officiated by Paul’s grand son-in-law Jonny Gomez in the Chapel. On premise visitation with refreshments will follow the service.
