He graduated from Broughton High School and Durham Technical Community College.
He worked as a Software Engineer at Nortel and IBM.
He was a member of the Elk’s Lodge.
He is survived by his Sons, Kyle and Chase McKinley; his sisters, Amy Moore and Ellen Lawhon; his Parents, Pat and Bill McKinley, as well as many great friends.
A Funeral Service was held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, 2:00pm in the Chapel Mausoleum at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh.
