Patricia Ann "Patti" Murphy

Patti worked for many years in marketing, first for Nortel Networks, and then Cisco Systems, from where she retired. Patti was a friendly, loving and colorful person who had an infectious smile. She always managed to stay positive, and was even thought of as a second mom by many of her son’s friends.

Patti had a passion for quilting, and was involved in a local quilting group where she could share in her passion with others. She loved doing crafts and making as many things as she could by hand. Patti had quite a green thumb, and enjoyed spending time in her garden. Being a family oriented person, Patti truly cherished the quality time she got to spend with her family at the beach and in the mountains, two of her favorite places.

Patti is survived by her husband, David Murphy; son, Shannon Murphy, and his fiancé, Meryl Riley; brother, Robert Ellebracht, and his wife, Pam; and brothers-in-law, Thomas Murphy, and his wife, Deanna, and Kelly Murphy, and his wife, Mary. Patti was preceded in death by her parents, Gene E. and Dorothy Ellebracht; brother, James Ellebracht; and sister-in-law, Sharon Little.
