Norma Warren Davis

Norma Warren Davis, 79, peacefully passed away on July 24, 2017 into the presence of her Lord and Savior. She was born on September 21, 1937 in Roanoke Rapids, NC to her parents, Walter and Beatrice Warren.

Norma was devoted to her family. She was the glue which kept everyone together, especially all the phone calls to the relatives. She loved to cook, read and enjoyed all of her animals.

She was an active school and Cub Scout volunteer. Norma was supportive in starting the family business, Cecil Davis Plumbing. Above all, she will be remembered for loving her family. She is remembered by Cecil, her beloved husband of 61 years, her loving son, Cecil Jr. (Rhonda) as well as her grandsons, Austin (Lauren) and Brett Davis who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her niece, Merle Russo and nephews, Stewart and Gary Teater. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Jayne Alford.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 27th at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
