Nancy Hawkins Gullie, 78, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2025. She was born March 22, 1947 in Rocky Mount to John and Eunice Hawkins. She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Glen Gullie, her son Chris (Donna), granddaughters Kenzie and Cameron, siblings J.E. Hawkins, Jr., Bruce Hawkins, Jackie Southerland (Jimmy), Violet Gupton, Cathy Manning (Tim), special brother in-law Billy Hollowell, many nieces and nephews along with her beloved dog Beau.
She was preceded in death by son Sean Gullie, beloved mother-in-law, Ruby Gullie, her sister, Lou Hollowell, brother-in-law, Ronald Gupton, sister in-law Wilma Hawkins.
Nancy had a love for the beach and cherished time spent with family and dear friends. Her unwavering spirit and zest for living life to it’s fullest will be deeply missed.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation at 4:00 pm with a celebration of life service at 5:00 pm, Thursday, April 10, 2025, in the chapel at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609.
