Nancy Smith Davis

Nancy Davis was born February 23, 1930 in Durham NC. Her parents were Lester A. Smith and Lily H. Smith of Durham. She attended Durham High School and was a graduate of Wake Forest University.

She was employed by the Wake County School System from which she retired.

Nancy Davis is survived by her four children, Norman E. Davis, III and his wife Gloria, Alan Davis and his wife Myra, Linda Lancaster and her husband Richard, Nancy Pickett and her husband Macks. She is also survived by six grandchildren and a great grandchild. In addition to her family, a very special family friend, Janie Bryant, who loved our mother dearly.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00PM with a funeral service at 2:30PM at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E Millbrook Rd, Raleigh, NC 27609. A graveside service will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, immediately following the funeral.
