Mounier Aziz Guirguis

He is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Evette Gerges of Raleigh, NC; brothers, Maher Guirguis and wife Deborah of Londonderry, NH, and Ezzat Guirguis and wife Amal of Mansfield, TX; sisters, Mohga Abaskhroun of Raleigh, NC, Magda Boutros of Melbourne, Australia, and Mona and husband Yacoub Gerges of Cairo Egypt. He is an uncle to Michael Abaskhroun, Mary Ann and her husband Jonathan Rebosa, Fady and wife Sandy Faragalla, Keristein and husband Hany Moussa, Emily and husband Edward Brake, Meena Guirguis, Andrew and wife Brita Guirguis, Maria and husband Michael Moussa, Helana Yacoub, Mariann and husband Ashraf, Peter and wife Marrow, John, Maria, Bishoi and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother and sisters in laws, Dr. Amal Gerges and her husband Nabil Labib, Albert Gerges, Isis Gerges and husband Sami Haseeb, Evon Gerges, Bella Gerges, and Iman Gerges all of Cairo Egypt.

Mounier was predeceased by his parents Mary Boctor and Aziz Guirguis and a brother in law, Kamal Boutros.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church at 3405 N. New Hope Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604. Due to weather conditions, burial will be on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 12:00pm at Raleigh Memorial Park, 7501 Glenwood Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612.
