Michael Lindsey Parker

Michael Lindsey Parker passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 after a hard fought battle with cancer. He was a father, papa, brother, best friend, and hard worker. He retired in October 2017 after 42 years with the State of North Carolina and was a recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Lindsey and Barbara Parker; step-son Lee Tippett; and daughter Michelle Dayton.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jenni Parker; granddaughters Lily and Keeley Parker; brother and sister-in-law Greg and Melissa Parker; the mother of his children, Teresa Tippett; step-daughter and son-in-law Kayla and Matt Hartman; bonus grandchildren Lorelei and Noah Hartman; and his brother-from-another-mother, Charles Fleming.
