Surviving are her son Alan Shepherd; daughter Cindy Trinks; granddaughter Ramona Connor (Alan); grandson John Trinks (Jessica); granddaughter Jasmine Trinks-Reese (Kevin); great grandchildren Ryan Connor, Sierra Connor, Bastian Trinks and Eowyn Trinks. Mary is also survived by her devoted sister Faye Smith and her brother Rex Turner both of Hillsborough NC.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Shepherd; siblings Ervin Turner, Eva Sykes, Edna Haines, Bob Turner, Tom Turner, Ben Turner, Rose Wicker, and David Turner.
A graveside service for Mary was held Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, 7600 ACC Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27617.
