My condolences and continuing prayers to the entire family.  Mommy Walser was a true mom to the Community and especially Langston Hughes Development. Mommy Walser is truly appreciated and loved by many people who she encountered throughout life. I loved the long talks we shared on life and her cooking tips. Let's not forget she always had a song in her spirit to share and I would always sit and listen. Mommy Mary Walser you are gone but will never ever be forgotten by me. I thank God for allowing you to be in my life. 🕊

To my family when I received the call that she had passed my heart was broken Momma Walser was a mom to me many times I have spent weekends at her home and one Sunday morning she said good morning to me and I said it back to her she then said what’s so good about this morning I didn’t have any answer and she said cause God woke you up this morning with the blood still running warm in your veins and the activity of your limbs that’s what is Good Morning is about and I never forgot it then I remember her piercing all the boys ears at her house like Nelson had said that was funny so many fond memories of her she will be truly missed. We are sadden to learn of the passing of Cousin Mary Ruth. I extend condolences from the Stone Family and our prayer for your comfort and peace during this season of loss. I remember Mary Ruth being  so full of life--her  bold personality and hearty laugh. Today, I reminisced with her 92-year old cousin [Baby Ruth] who shared: "I remember the good ole days at Grandma Emma--eating together, playing together, going to Mt Calvary Church together. Mary Ruth was always outspoken, with a strong mind of her own, full of fun. She went to New York and I stayed in South Carolina. We both had a large family including a set of twins. Oh, we had a wonderful time talking and catching up at the Green Family Reunion in Raleigh [which was 2014]. I had hope to talk with her again over the FaceTime like we did last year. But....now she's, they are all gone--her Momma, my Momma, John, Douglas, Mattie, Geraldine.....But we all have a price to pay. God is the center of our joy; He has our number. We must be ready when He calls us. Mary Ruth was ready when the Angel came for her--did not have to lay and suffer. That is a blessing. Now she is enjoying joy, peace and happiness where Jesus is--out of this troublesome world. I will see my cousin again on the other side."

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).  To our family, we express our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of cousin “May Ruth”.  Praying you find comfort in your fond memories, the love and support of family and friends, and knowing she was loved by so many. Be encouraged with God’s promise, “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever”.

Sending prayers of healing and comfort to the relatives and friends of the Walser Family.  Mother Walser was a strong…and admirable woman.  As one of her daughter’s (Jacqueline Eaddy’s) best friends, she welcomed me in her home and treated me as if I was one of her daughters.  I was affectionately known to Mother Walser as “Jackie’s  big-eyed friend” and I loved it. That was her compliment to me. Mother Walser is greatly missed. Continued prayers for her loved ones.

Thank you to the Walser Family for allowing me to experience the knowledge and company of Momma Walser. She was a blessing to me as well as the youth in the Langston Hughes Community Center she would come and talk to each and everyone one of them like if they were her own grand children.
She was a force not to be messed with. She will tell you when you were right or wrong.
I enjoyed my center days when she came to talk to me and give me advice. My mother also enjoyed listening and talking to her.
I will always keep Momma Walser in my heart 💜 
I know she had love for me she gave me one of her favorite pots that I still have . Her home attendant said she must like you, those her favorite pots. 🤗
Momma Walser means LOVE…..
I will never forget you. I know to be absent from the body, Is to be present with the lord 🙏🏽

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Moma Walser our neighborhood mother. She always looked out for her community and she was going to tell you the truth about the situation. She was a true blessing to us always helping us grow with her words of wisdom . Whenever I rode threw Brownsville I would look to the right to see if she was in the garden or on the bench because I knew she would uplift me with her knowledge God has blessed us with an angel 🕊️ My heart is aching but the memories she shared will forever be with me!🙏🏾 My prayers to the family 🙏🏾

I'm speechless. My thoughts... The best sweet potato pie... she pierced my ear with a sewing needle and an ice cube... she raised her children well, then raised other people's children just as well... intensely fierce and enormously kind... the world is missing an angel today!

The block and neighborhood Mother is Gone. The world has lost one of Gods Angels 😇.the best words that can describe mama Walser is ( SHE CARED) about all of us.
