Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00 am at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 201 Dixie Trail, Raleigh. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Farmville, NC, at 3:00 pm.
Frances was the daughter of the late Tennie Brooks Oakley and Mamie Frances Taylor Oakley. She was a graduate of Farmville High School in 1952.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Billie Wooten House; son, Steve House and wife, Amy; son, Chris House and wife Jean; her grandchildren are Stephanie H. Poore and husband Justin, Austin S. House, and Jonah B. House: and her great grandchildren are Anna M. Poore, Merritt F. Poore and Thomas S. Poore; and her two sisters, Doris Britt and Faye Bailey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hills Baptist Church, 201 Dixie Trail Raleigh, NC 27607.
