Martha Carolyn Joslin

She attended Lexington City School and Flora Macdonald College in Red Springs, NC. Carolyn was employed for 30 years by the North Carolina General Assembly.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Doris Petty and Pauline Bodie and brothers Dermont and Waldo Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John Hindsdale Joslin, son John Hinsdale Joslin Jr., and his wife Carmen, and son Smith Alexander Joslin and his wife Kelly, her grandchildren: Ashley Alexander Joslin, Catherine Anne Joslin, John Hinsdale Joslin III, Wyatt Alexander Joslin and Dixie Alexander Joslin.

The family will have a time of visitation from 12-1pm Saturday February 6, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home 300 Saint Mary’s St, Raleigh. A Memorial service will begin at 1pm. Committal prayers will follow at Historic Oakwood Cemetery Raleigh.
