Marilyn B. Roper

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Mrs. Roper was a resident of Charlottesville, Virginia for 54 years. She resided in Raleigh, N.C. for 5 years and spent 30 summers at Atlantic Beach, N.C.

She was a former trustee of St. Anne's-Belfield and Woodberry Forest School. Mrs. Roper was a graduate of Longwood University.

She was a wonderful mother and a devoted grandmother. She is survived by her son Kinny (Sue) and her daughter, Lee Stough (John ) and grandchildren Mark Roper, Johnny, Carter , and Courtney Stough.

There will be a graveside service at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Hollywood Cemetery, 412 South Cherry Street, Richmond, Virginia 23220.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the George Kinsey Roper Scholarship fund at Woodberry Forest School, Woodberry Forest, Virginia 22989.
