I am just learning of both Margie and Cecil’s passing. We were neighbors for several years and would visit periodically even after we moved. Both Cecil and Margie were some of the nicest people one could meet. They welcomed our little family to the neighbor and gently passed lots of marriage advice on. When we had our daughter, they were so happy for us. I feel bad that I am just learning if their passing...I think of them often and life does go by fast. I wish the family well.

So sorry to hear of the passing of this sweet lady. I had the pleasure of working at Sears with her for many years. She was always so kind and loving. There were lots of ladies at Sears  that were like mothers to my little boy at the time.  I was a single parent.  It was like he was lucky enough to have many mothers.  Margie was one of them.  She and others were always encouraging him to stand on the carpet samples and sing. I  haven't seen Margie in years and I regret that. But I'm sure she remembered that little boy who grew up to be Clay Aiken from American Idol. And knowing her I feel she was just as proud. She had a hand in his future. So Margie Rest In Peace. Clay and I send our Love. And to her family. Know she is Sheltered in the arms of God

I wanted to offer my condolences to the Beacham Family on the death of Mrs. B.  I still have a memory of Linda and me going to Sears when it was located in Cameron Village in the late 60's or early 70's and seeing Mrs. B and Judy when Judy worked there for a part time job.  It was clear that Mrs. B was in charge.  Later in life, I also enjoyed many family meals at Judy and Jim's house that included Margie and Cecil as well as my own parents.  I know that my parents especially enjoyed spending time with Margie and Cecil.  I can tell from other comments that many people had the same opinion that I had that Margie was "that" parent that younger folks could joke around with and she was easily one of the crowd.  I think she never took herself too seriously.  I admired that about her and believe that the rest of us could benefit from her example.  Mrs. B will be missed, but I think we are all better for having known her!

My thoughts and prayers are with the Beacham family.  She is blessed to have passed  in the comfort of her home.

We love you Margie - you were like a second Mother.  We were truly blessed to have you in our lives and we are so thankful for you and Cecil. You are Home now ...

What a great loss for your family and Longview Gardens. Mrs. B was perfect example of a woman that loved her family and gave the world her best. Everytime I was around her she found something to laugh about and was great fun. She will be missed.

I will love and miss Mrs. Beacham always.  After all these years, I still cannot think about her without smiling at the memories.  She made such a wonderful difference in my life and so many other lives; it will take a while for me to truly understand the depth of the loss to so many. Debra Chisenhall

Our family will miss Mrs. Margie.  We were blessed to live beside her for several years.  She was one of the first people to hold our first born when we brought her home from the hospital.  The way she looked at her and held her for the longest time...I will remember that forever.  Our second daughter took her first steps on their porch walking over to her.  Such as sweet lady.  Love you Margie and may you rest peacefully with our Lord.

So sorry to hear of your dear mom's passing. We go all the way back to the Sasser and Holden St. days. She and my mom were great friends as they worked together at Sears. I will always remember her graciousness when I came to your house each morning as we rode together to Wendell School. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

She was a great woman. She was like a great grandmother figure to my daughter Heather. She will be truly missed. Praying for your family at this time.

What a wonderful friend. My husband and I were honored to spend many hours with Margie and Cecil solving the worlds problems. They were instrumental in our becoming members of Longview Baptist Church. My heart goes out to Cecil and family.
