Linda Turner Knowles

Linda Turner Knowles, 74, of Raleigh, NC and Oriental, NC died May 21, 2015, at Sunrise of Raleigh. Linda was always generous and kind. Many who met her became life-long friends and those who were fortunate to be in her family have many happy memories.

Linda spent many years managing the law firm of Sanford, Adams, McCullough, and Beard in Raleigh, NC. In 1988, Linda co-founded QRPS, Inc. with her husband, Ross Knowles (deceased). They managed QRPS, Inc. together until their retirement in 2001. During retirement Linda and Ross moved to Oriental, NC to enjoy the relaxing waters and the good friendships they had developed over the years.

Linda is survived by her sister, Betsy Thigpen; brother, David Turner; daughter, Philinda Sumberg and husband, Daniel; son, Philip L Hinnant, III; step-son, Forrest Knowles and wife, Michelle; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private family service was previously held.
