Larry Bernard Rose, of Raleigh, passed away on July 19, 2021. Larry was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to Marjorie Louise Johnson Rose and the late Bernard Zane Rose.
He enjoyed a successful career as a telecommunication engineer, which allowed him to travel extensively across the globe. He also enjoyed golf, and playing and working on his computers.
In addition to his Mother, Larry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ope Famisan Rose; sons, Larry Rose II and Troy Rose; stepsons, Erwin and Fabie Foja; brother Kenny Rose; sister Ruth Ann Ives.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 27th at Mitchell Funeral Home from 6-8pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 28th at 11:00 am at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd. Raleigh, NC 27609, with burial immediately following at Raleigh Memorial Park.
