Kenneth Alan Tucker

Ken was a department manager at the Harris Teeter Grocery Store in Cary, for over 27 years. His true passion in life was constructing and maintaining beautiful aquariums. He used his expertise to start a small business call “The Fish Guy Aquarium Maintenance Company”. He enjoyed traveling around the world, to find new species of fish and became very knowledgeable with the different varieties. But, the absolute love of his life was his wonderful wife and best friend, Lisa, whom he shared so many special memories.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Copensky-Tucker, of Raleigh; his mother, Joanne (Dumm) Tucker, of Apex and his father, Von Tucker, of Texas. He will also be missed by his sister, Cynthia Watts, of Northern Cambria, PA, his brother, Donald Tucker, of Apex, and many friends. Ken was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Tucker.

The Celebration of Ken’s life will be held on Thursday, January 31, at 1:00 pm, Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh. The family will receive friends following the service.
