Kenneth Dean Brady, of Raleigh, NC passed away on December 18, 2019 while surrounded by family, after a long fight with congestive heart failure. He was 77. Kenneth Brady was born on January 27, 1942 in White Springs, Florida. He graduated from Suwannee High School in 1960 and Florida State University in 1965. He went on to work for 26 years as a Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. He retired in 1993 as the Resident Agent in Charge of ATF’s Raleigh Field Office in Raleigh, NC.
After retirement from Federal service he worked at Providence Baptist Church in Raleigh, NC. Kenneth Brady was a self-made man who was always concerned with ensuring that his family and friends were provided for. He often ended his conversation with “Let me know if you need anything.“ and he genuinely meant it.
Mr. Brady is survived by his wife of 55 years Betty Jo Corbin Brady, and his sons, Kenneth Brady, Jr., Kelly D. Brady, daughter in law, Kim, granddaughters Sydney and Peyton, his brothers James Elwood (Geraldine), Malcolm (Nancy) and his sister Janice Brady Gill (Kim). He was preceded in death by his father, John Nelson Brady, his mother Sara Ada McCall Brady and brother John Alton Brady.
Services were held on December 28, 2019 in Live Oak, Florida. Family will receive friends in North Carolina on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10 am at Providence Baptist Church - Amphitheatre, with a Memorial Service to begin at 11 am.
