Kathleen Dail Fail

Kathleen Dail Fail, a native of Mount Olive, NC passed away after a battle with cancer Sunday, December 25, 2016. Kathleen resided in Raleigh, NC since 1962, after moving from Goldsboro, NC. She was previously a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and currently a member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church. She retired from Ravenscroft School after over 20 years of service.

Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, friend, and follower of Christ.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Kathy Marie Freeman and son-in-law, Scott; grandchildren, Abbey Haglund and husband, Sean, Corey Freeman, and Zachary Freeman and wife, Lauren; great grandson, William Freeman; and sisters, Ethel Heath and Mary-Ann Brinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ralph Fail Sr.; sons, Ralph, David, and Jackie; and sisters, Ruth Best and Margaret Dail.

A celebration honoring Kathleen’s life will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Bay Leaf Baptist Church, 12200 Bayleaf Church Rd, Raleigh, NC, 27614 at 11:00am. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:00-10:45am. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 S, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
