Juana was born in Mexico, and was raised in Houston, TX. In 1997, Juana relocated to Raleigh. She was an active member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, where she was involved with the Mothers in Faith.
In addition to her husband of 24 years, Juana is survived by her son, Alberto Perez; daughters, Nadia and Kaitlyn Perez; all of Raleigh; parents, Luis and Esperanza Hernandez; brother, Jorge Luis Hernandez of Houston, TX; sisters, Rocio Reyes, and her husband Simon, Anna Amolochitis, and her husband Anthony, Lupita Salinas, and her husband, Alejandro, Esperanza Kinsey, and her husband, Kyle, all of Houston, TX; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Raleigh, with Father Bruce Bavinger, S. J. presiding. Services in Pasadena Texas are as follows: a visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Funeraira Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, Texas; a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 30 at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 Main Street, Pasadena, Texas; burial will follow in Grand View Memorial Park, Pasadena, Texas.
