Joyce Ann Brooks

She was born on March 17th, 1963 to Mary McKnight and William Robert Brooks. She grew up in Raleigh,NC and graduated from Enloe High School in 1981. She went on to Chowan College on a Volleyball scholarship and studied Business Administration.

She was a supportive wife and devoted mother. She was a poet, singer and always had an encouraging word. She had a Grace about her that you couldn’t put words to and although there were parts of her life that were like flowers that didn’t get a chance to bloom, she passed on lessons and words that helped others have the chance to bloom.

She is survived by mother; Mary Mcknight, sisters Olga Foxworth and Robin Churn. Brothers Lynn McKnight, Enoch McKnight and Fred McKnight. Children; Christopher Saulter, Victoria Saulter, and Amanda Saulter(Daughter-in-law). Grandchildren; Elizabeth Saulter, William Saulter, and Amelia Saulter.

A graveside service was held on June 23, 2023 at 12:30 PM in Carolina Biblical Gardens.
