Hello, my name is Benjamin also. I'm named after my Dad : Benjamin Gibbs MD. He is a retired Vascular Surgeon and my Step Mom Jean was a practicing Nurse for many years, both now retired. I came across "His Name Is Benjamin" by JOY WOOD BRITT in my local bookstore and just finished reading it. This copy is signed by Mrs. Britt(I believe it is her signature). The writing states; "To Karen and Mark Downin-from a lovely person-Kathryn Denham-Joy Wood Britt February, 1983, There are many parallels with my Dad and our family. Thank You & LORD Bless You all. Please forgive me if got spelling of name(s) incorrect? 

Joy was my first cousin.  I have shared many memories with her and some visits in N. C. and in Fl.  Because of illness I had lost touch with her.  I decided to look here and found this obituary.  I am sorry to hear of her death.  I shall remember the good times we spent together.
