Johnathan was a genuine and kind soul. He was full of child-like enthusiasm and at his core he was an explorer and adventurer who loved being outside. When he was exploring, he was never afraid. He was quick to help others. He had a green thumb and loved planting. He loved animals.
One of his most treasured achievements was hiking the Appalachian Trail. He gave back to the Appalachian Trail by doing “ Trail Magic” (kindness for exhausted hikers).
Memorial donations to the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (https://appalachiantrail.org/) would truly honor his memory.
Arrangements are with Brown-Wynne Funeral Home & Crematory, 300 Saint Mary's St. Raleigh, NC.
