John Wesley Little

He held a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. John was a retail executive holding leadership positions at Sears, Target and Roses before purchasing his own company in Birmingham Alabama.

He had many joys in life including his family, music, vacationing in Disney World, shelling on Captiva Island and a love of Duke basketball!

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years: Judith Sehn Little; sister: Jane Winters: son Baird Little and his wife Susan Little and granddaughter Mackenzie Little; daughter: Elyce Seaman and her husband Jay Seaman with granddaughters Gabrielle Williams, Jordan Seaman and grandson Jackson Seaman; and daughter: Andrea Little. He was also survived by his nephew: John Winters and niece: Katie Winters O’Hara.

A Celebration of John’s Life will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home (7209 Glenwood Avenue). Family will receive friends following the service.
