Jerry Thomas Dale

Mr. Dale was born January 1, 1939 in Mercer County, WV, to the late Mary Margaret Marchant and Samuel Burton Dale. He graduated from Bramwell High School in 1958. Upon graduation, he attended Wake Tech, as well as UNC-Chapel Hill. Mr. Dale was employed as an Accountant for several years with UNC-Chapel Hill, and Conagra. He also was self-employed helping people with their annual tax returns.

Jerry was a longtime member of Brooks Avenue Church of Christ, joining the church in 1976. He was very active and involved with the food pantry and the ESL students. He enjoyed deer hunting, billiards, and music – playing piano, guitar and singing.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Thomas Dale.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1:00pm at Brooks Avenue Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Brooks Avenue Church of Christ, Special Needs, by using the link below, under ‘donations’.
