Janet Wrobel Pederson, of Raleigh, NC joined her husband David in heaven Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She is survived by her children Jessica Pederson Saunders of Raleigh and Michael David Pederson of Boone, grandchildren Harper Johnson of Boone and Savannah Lee Saunders of Raleigh. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Maryann Wrobel of South River, NJ. and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Janet was born on August 6, 1951 and grew up in South River, NJ. She graduated from South River High School, Southeastern Louisiana University, and Louisiana State University. Janet married David Pederson on November 25, 1978. They lived in Raleigh, Bay City MI, and settled back in Raleigh.
Janet was an avid LSU fan and watched their games with her LSU alumni club. She was a teacher in MI and NC. Janet worked at USPS and retired from the North Carolina Employment Security Commission. Additionally, she had been a member of the Polish American Club. She was an excellent and creative cook. The Pederson family enjoyed camping and being outdoors together. Janet loved her family unconditionally.
