Raymond was born James Patrick Raymond O'Connor in Ballymena Ireland. A resident of Raleigh previously residing in Japan, NYC and London. Raymond was a former senior partner at Clifford Chance specializing in Finance. Whilst intelligence, integrity and loyalty were qualities Raymond demonstrated without exception throughout his life, it was his generosity, big heart and irreverent humor that will be missed by his family and friends.
He was the loving husband to Elaine and the cherished father to Caroline. “The bravest man we will ever know, you will remain forever DaDa our Superhero."
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (300 Saint Mary's St., Raleigh, NC).
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Cathedral (219 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC). Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
