Jack M. Stancil, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2022. A visitation will be held at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh N.C. 27609 on Thursday, August 4th, 2022 From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on August 5th, 2022 at Christ Baptist Church, 400 Newton Road, Raleigh, N.C. 27615.
A beloved husband and father, Jack was a well-respected CPA in Raleigh and worked with his staff at Stancil and Company, CPA’s for many years. He was able to celebrate the firm’s 50th anniversary on October 1, 2021 with his former partners, staff and their spouses. Jack was born on February 11, 1942 in Stantonsburg, N.C. He graduated from high school in Greene County and furthered his education at East Carolina University where he graduated in 1964. He married the love of his life, Patsy, on August 26, 1962. After graduating from East Carolina, the couple moved to Raleigh where he began his career and started a family.

Jack’s vision in life was to give guidance and offer solutions for all of his client’s financial needs. The wisdom and knowledge that he provided to so many individuals and organization will be greatly missed.
In his spare time, Jack loved to play golf and spent many happy times over the years at his vacation home in Pine Knoll Shores, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patsy. He is survived by his daughter Loree and his son-in-law, Scott, as well as his sister Mary, her husband Hugh, and their two children.
The family would like to thank the many individuals involved in Jack’s care over the last few years including Visiting Angels and Medi Home Health Hospice Care. A special thanks goes to Cheri Malone who cared for Jack for several years and also to Tonya Burks, who helped care for Jack in his final months.
