Jack Hastings Adams met his Lord and Maker tragically due to a motor vehicle accident early in the morning of July 20, 2017. Jack graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in May of 2016. Jack recently completed his freshman year at the University of Kentucky and planned a career in business. Jack was an avid Kentucky Wildcat basketball fan from birth due to the influence from his dad, Craig Adams.
Jack lit up a room with his personality, ability to speak, and love of everyone. Jack was always surrounded by many friends who loved him and whom he loved dearly. Jack loved all sports and was especially fond of football, golf, and all water sports at Lake Gaston. Jack loved to “live life.” He did an amazing job of “smelling the roses,” savoring the special moments of life. Jack was a man with a huge, soft heart – tender to the core. Jack was a huge protector of his sister, Taylor, and his mom, Amy. He was driving home after spending time with friends following a Durham Bulls game. He wanted to be home to make sure his sister and mom were safe and protected.
Jack is survived by his mom, Amy Adams, sister, Taylor, and dad, Craig Q. Adams. Jack loved and is loved beyond words. Jack Hastings Adams knew the Lord. Jack’s love, passion, and tender heart were gifts from God.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the North Ridge Country Club Ballroom on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm. A visitation to celebrate his life will be held following the service.
