Inez M. Barefoot

She was survived by her three sisters; Vercie Eller, Mildred Stalzer, Janice O'Neal and husband, Richard; and brother, Alan D. Massengill and wife, Barbara. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their spouses and children.

She was predeceased by her husband, Judson Hoover Barefoot; her parents, Percy Bright and Betty Pearl Parker Massengill; and two sisters and four brothers.

Inez had a successful career and retired with 30 years service with Southern Bell (now AT&T). She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 297, Raleigh, N.C. and Telephone Pioneers.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to William M. Dunlap Center for Caring, Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, N.C. 27607, Greystone Baptist Church 7509 Lead Mine Rd., Raleigh, N.C. or a charity of your choice.

Visitation (10.00 AM) funeral services (11:00 AM) and reception (12:00 Noon) October 26, 2012 at Greystone Baptist Church. A celebration of life and interment will be at Raleigh Memorial Park at 7501 Glenwood Avenue.
