She was born on March 25th, 2021.
Despite her trisomy eighteen diagnosis, Ines lived a beautiful, happy, and fulfilling life and she was a fighter until the end. Though her time with her family was short, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by those around her.
Ines loved being held and there were no set of arms she would turn down. She loved music, the outdoors, putting her toes in the sand at the beach, adored balloons, and enjoyed being surrounded by people and laughter. She spent every moment of her life defying all odds and leaving precious memories for all those she encountered. She was truly a miracle baby!
Her family cherishes her memory as the brief gift it was. Ines is survived by her parents, Johnathan and Brenda Severs, her older brother and best friend Leonardo. Her grandparents, Rosa Martinez and Roberto Cruz, Patricia Severs and Randall Ball. Her great grandparents Kenneth and Patricia Hamilton, and Mario Martinez. Her uncle Roberto Cruz, aunt Karla Alonso, uncle Jesus Cruz, uncle Kevin Severs and cousins Norah & Estaban Cruz, Jaxson Severs, and many more.
A funeral service was held in the Mausoleum Chapel of Raleigh Memorial Park.
