Hilary was born July 12, 1982 in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania to Dr. Larry D. Sumner and Jayne Sumner, who survive her. She was a graduate of ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and had resided in Raleigh for the past four years. Hilary loved sports, animals, children, and life. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
In addition to her family, she is survived by her two brothers, Robert Sumner and his family of Mill Creek, Washington, and Brian Sumner of Denver, CO.
Services will be private.
