Helen S. Ross

Born in Greer, SC, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Horace and Gladys Green Stokes.

Mrs. Ross was a beloved mother, wife, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Helen retired after 25 years of dedicated service with HUD and is a member of St Marks Methodist Church, Raleigh.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 53 years, Beverly Bruce Ross, who loved her, just around the edges, grandson, Jeffrey Russell, brother and sister in-law, Julian H. and Kathleen Stokes, and sister, Harriette Bahan Wade.

Surviving are her son and daughter in-law, David and Debra Ross, granddaughter, Jennifer Fuqua (Jeremy), great-grandsons, Hunter Ayers, Drew and Ashton Fuqua.,brother, Donald R Stokes (Violet) and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Raleigh Memorial Park. Rev. Julia Ledford will officiate.
