He is survived by 5 children, Michael Malachi and wife, Mellie, Ronald Palmer, Janice Lane, Lisa Holland and husband, Tim, and Stacey Jacobs and husband, Joey; 11 grandchildren, Millie Beasley, Zach Palmer, Tim Lane, Jessie Lane, Kevin Lane, Adrienne Laughlin, Ashley Acosta, Alex Colvin, Abby Wilkins, Brandon McCain, and Summer Jacobs; and many extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Palmer; sister, Beverly White; and brother, Ron Palmer.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 1701 E. Millbrook Road, Raleigh, NC 27609. A reception will immediately follow.
