George Edward Simpson

His passing was unexpected and peaceful and much too soon.

George was born in Christian,Kentucky and was the third of 4 children. George was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Simpson. He leaves behind 2 sisters, Cathy Simpson of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Judy Blevins and husband, Jimmy, of Anchorage, Alaska, and a brother, John Simpson and wife, Tammy, of Wallburg, NC. Other family includes nieces Ashley, Crystal, Rachelle, Jennifer, Jessica, and nephews Alex, Johnny, and John. He also leaves behind his family in Raleigh, Dan Early and his 2 adopted kids Dallas and Cooper.

George had a large group of friends and co-workers who meant the world to him and were a large part of his life. Join friends and family for a celebration of George’s life Sunday, August 5th, 2-4 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St Mary’s St. Raleigh. Casual attire please.
