Ernest W. Jones

Ernest Wayne Jones, 80, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. Born on May 30, 1936 in Raleigh, Ernest was the last surviving child of Woodrow Eddins and Ethel Jones Poole and the husband of the late Celesta Sue Jones.

He was well known at the A&P Warehouse as a Fork Lift Operator and retired from R&H Produce at the Farmer's Market. An avid movie buff, Ernest was always able to let his family know about opening night for any new movie.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter: Sylvia Kay Allen, of Garner; step-daughter: Teresa Maiden, of Zebulon; granddaughter: Crystal Barerras and husband Ramone; grandson: Roger Lee Adams, Jr.; and great-grandson: Christopher Barerras.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 3 pm at Raleigh Memorial Park.
