Elizabeth "Betty" Womble Nance, of Raleigh, passes away June19, 2013. Betty’s wonderful journey through life included working approximately 40 years with the US Department of Agriculture, Tobacco Division. She was admired by many members of her family and friends for her loving, caring personality.
Betty is survived by many cousins, special friends, and step children as well as her beloved pet, Bren.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ollie "Pick" Pickral; second husband, Hugh "Sid" Nance; and special friend, Larry Booth. She was also predeceased by her mother, Alva Womble Wheeley.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be June 22, 2013 at 11:00am, Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St Mary’s St., Raleigh, with visitation prior, from 10:00am to 11:00am Interment to follow service at Raleigh Memorial Park.
