Eddie Urieta-Yañez

Eddie is survived by his parents, Ublester Urieta Najera and Blanca Yañez López, his four younger siblings- Leslie Urieta Yañez, Bladimir Urieta Yañez, Yahir Urieta Yañez and Yaretzi Urieta Yañez, his maternal grandfather, Antonio Yañez, his paternal grandparents, Francisco Urieta and Paula Najera, and many aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom loved him dearly.

Eddie graduated from Athens Drive High School in June 2015. He was a full time student in his first semester of college at Wake Community Tech. Eddie dreamed of becoming a counselor because he said he wanted to help others. In addition to being a full time student, he worked full time at Kane Realty Corporation, where he is greatly missed. His close friends say Eddie was like a brother to them.

Eddie was a positive energy in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was always in a good mood, making everyone smile. He knew the exact words to say when someone was feeling down. He was always there for his friends and family and cared so much for them. Eddie will always be remembered as a wonderful person with a gentle, radiating smile and kind, sparkling eyes. His kindness lives on in the lives of everyone who knew him. He made this world a better place.

The funeral services will be held at Iglesia de Dios Rios de Agua Viva located at 2700 Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh, North Carolina.
